Cookies
This site does not set any. That is why you have not been asked to accept anything.

Most medical websites open with a box asking you to accept cookies. This one does not, because there is nothing to accept. No cookies are set, nothing is stored on your device, and nothing follows you to another website.
What that means in practice
- No advertising or marketing pixels — no Meta, no Google Ads, no LinkedIn.
- No tag manager.
- No social media buttons that report your visit back.
- No embedded videos or maps loading from another company's servers.
- Typefaces are served from this website, not from a font network, so no third party is told which pages you read.
- No account, no login, and nothing that remembers you between visits.
How we count visits
We do not, at the moment. There is no analytics of any kind on this site. If we add any it will be Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless — it sets nothing on your device, does not fingerprint your browser, and cannot follow you to other sites — and this page will say so before it goes on.
Under the UK's cookie rules, consent is required for storing or reading things on your device. Because nothing is stored or read, there is nothing to ask you about. That is the whole reason there is no banner.
The one unavoidable record
This site is delivered by Cloudflare, which handles the connection between your browser and the website and protects it from attack. Doing that necessarily involves handling your IP address for a short time, as any web server must. It is used for security and for keeping the site running, not to work out who you are.
If you send an enquiry
That is the only point at which this website collects anything about you, and only what you type. What happens to it is set out in the privacy notice.
Checking for yourself
You do not have to take our word for it. Open your browser's developer tools, look under storage, and you will find this site has left nothing behind.
Talk to Lucie
If you have a question about any of this — or about a hip or a knee, which is more likely — Lucie Connock is Mr Berwin's private secretary and answers every enquiry herself, on 07761 897874.
